With our dedicated faculty and supportive atmosphere, you will receive an unparalleled dance experience. A few highlights include:

1. Comprehensive Technique Classes: At The Joffrey Workshop, our experienced faculty provide comprehensive techniques in various styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern dance. This allows students to take their dance skills to the next level.

2. Unparalleled Access to Professional Choreography: We have partnered with the Gerald Arpino Foundation to teach portions of ballets he created for the Joffrey Ballet in a variations-style class usually only accessible by professional artists.

3. Encouraging Atmosphere: At our workshops, we strive to create an encouraging atmosphere that allows dancers of all levels to access and hone their skill set.

4. Inclusive Dress Codes: We promote dress codes that ensure students of color and gender nonconforming students feel welcome. This aligns with what is done in professional dance companies, creating a more professional atmosphere for our dancers.

5. Diverse Faculty: Our experienced faculty have various credits from The Joffrey Ballet, “Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular” at Disney’s California Adventure, Ballet San Antonio, Odyssey Dance Theatre, and more. This provides our dancers with a diverse perspective on concert dance techniques.

The Joffrey Workshop has been educating dancers since 1978, and our mission is to provide a welcoming space for all students.

We focus on concert dance techniques - Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary. Our knowledge of these techniques is our strength and we feel confident in delivering them in detail to students.
Our dress codes ensure students of color and gender nonconforming students feel welcome and reflect what is being done in professional dance companies.
